LG V30 won’t play my MP4 files, how to fix?
“Hi, any ideas why my LG V30 doesn’t play MP4 videos that it should play. I’ve copied several MP4 clips onto my SD card. It turns up in the media player app. But when I go to play it a popup message saying something like ‘this video cannot be played’. Strangely I earlier put an AVI video onto the same SD card. I can play this AVI video fine in the same video player app. MP4 should be playable on LG V30. Why did this happen? Is there anything I can do to solve the issue? Thanks for any help.”
MP4 is a container format. It can hold different kinds of video/audio codecs. If your MP4 video contains a codec that is not supported by LG V30, you may probably encounter incompatibility issues when playing it. If that’s the case, we would recommend converting the MP4 movie to a format that is compatible with your LG V30 first, such as H.264 AAC encoded MP4, which LG V30 will recognize and handle well.
How to convert MP4 files for playing on LG V30 flawlessly?
Step 1: Run HD Video Converter as the best LG V30 Video Converter. Click ‘Add File’ button to load source files that you want to convert. You can add multiple files into it at a time to do batch conversion.
