How can I edit MXF video in Edius seamlessly?
“Hi all, can anyone kindly recommend a smooth MXF workflow in Edius? I have a bundle of MXF files saved on a hard drive. I can drag-and-drop the MXF file from Windows Explorer directly into the timeline or bin. But the editing process is unstable and unreliable. I’ve tried everything that I can think of and I can not handle those MXF files in Edius seamlessly. Can anyone help me with this? Thanks?”

EDIUS can ingest just about anything you’ll throw at it. If for any reason you are having issues working with MXF files in Edius, we would recommend recommend them first. Here’s how.
