How do I get back deleted photos on iPad Air?
“Hi there, can anyone help please! I organized my photos into Folders for easy viewing then deleted them from the camera roll thinking that once in folders my photos would be safe. I discovered that deleting photos from the camera roll also deletes the photos form the folders! How can I restore them without any backups? Sorry I’m still new to the apple world. Please help me! Thank you.”
iOS does not have a recycle bin for deleted photos. When you delete a picture from camera roll, it will delete from any folder you put it in as the folder is just a pointer from camera roll to the photo. Your only chance to get them back is by restoring from an iCloud backup and that will only restore them if you backed up your iPad before you deleted your photos. If not, they are gone and you will need to use a third party iPad Air data recovery app to get them back. Here’s how.
How to retrieve deleted photos on iPad Air?
Follow these steps:
Step1. Download, install and run Fonelab for PC or Mac on your computer. Here we run the Mac version for example.
Step2. Scan data from iPad
Connect your iPad to Mac, select “Recover from iOS Device” mode and click the “Start” button to begin scanning.
Step3. Recover iPad photos
After the scanning, all found data will be displayed under categories. You are allowed to preview each file. Select the photos which you wish to recover. Then click “Recover” button to retrieve photos from iPad directly.
