Needed to batch convert XAVC-S clips onto DNxHD
“Hi folks, I shot my first XAVC-S clips on my Sony camera the other day. I’m not able to import and edit them in Avid MC so was wondering about transcoding to a more edit friendly codec. Is there a piece of software that’d take a batch of XAVC-S clips and convert them to DNxHD based on the source frame rates and resolutions? Any recommendations greatly appreciated. Thanks.”
With HD Video Converter installed, it won’t be a problem to encode XAVC S video into DNxHD. You can download a demo version (for both, Mac and Windows) to have a try. They are not free but it is totally worth it.
